An entrepreneur at heart, founder and CEO, Lauren Walsh, always wanted to figure out a way to turn her passion for people, sports and fashion into a career. She studied financial planning and retail management at Purdue University, where she was also a member of the cheerleading squad for four years. After earning her degree, Lauren wanted to find a way to stay involved and give back to the athletic community so she began working as a mentor for the University's football team. It was then that Lauren realized a true need for life and personal branding advice amongst individuals, particularly athletes. Valuing hard work and the power of positivity, Lauren wanted to create a way for athletes to brand themselves and capitalize on their potential off of the field or the court. With a professional background in recruiting and financial services, in addition to nine years of styling and personal branding, Lauren finally decided to make the leap from corporate America to pursue her passion in January 2015. With that, LW Branding was founded. Since it's inception, LW Branding has expanded its services from strictly image consulting to full service personal brand development and management for professional athletes, or as she likes to call it, "the talented humans who get paid to play sports". In addition to acting as LW Branding's CEO, Lauren also serves as the Director of Operations for the HEROH Foundation, a non-profit organization in Chicago, and teaches a class that she created called Branding 101 to the football team at Purdue University.
